If your insurance policy provides out-of-network substance abuse benefits, this may make your treatment more affordable.

Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
Many companies offer their employees an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a completely confidential service designed to help employees deal with personal issues such as stress, smoking, drug abuse, financial issues, child care, and other similar issues. EAP plans are typically paid for by the employer and in most cases, the benefits extend to family members covered by your medical insurance.
If your employer offers an EAP plan, this may help supplement the cost of your detox and/or residential drug and alcohol treatment. Please contact our admissions team at (888) 463-9914today to discuss this payment option further.

Health Savings Account (HSA)
-
Using funds from a health savings account (HSA) may also be an excellent way to pay for drug rehab. An HSA is a type of personal savings account that can be used to pay for medical expenses like drug rehab. If you have an HSA, you may also use it to pay for health care services for eligible dependents such as your spouse or children.
The IRS determines which healthcare costs are considered “qualified expenses,” but this may include your drug and alcohol addiction treatment, prescription drugs, counseling/therapy, laboratory fees, transportation costs to and from rehab, and your food and lodging expenses, among other things. Call Nova today to learn more about this payment option.
